Slow Month

Thanks to Tim getting a year older, the turnout wasn't terrific last night but we did welcome a new player. Welcome Harold! Hope to see you again next month! In all, we only had 7 players out. Mooney, with his ninja-like rebuying skills managed to be eliminated first AND second. He probably would have been eliminated third as well if we would have waived the first orbit rebuy rule (he busted the second time 2 hands into 2nd orbit). It was soooooo good to see the old Mooney back.

A pleasant surprise of the evening was Jen's performance. She finished 3rd and made some money. Jeff & Nikki battled it out heads-up with Jeff pulling in the win. Here are the results:


Since we had so few players, the night was young so we fired up a $5 turbo with all 7 players. After some initial discussion it was ultimately decided to play NLHE again although PL Omaha, Pineapple, and Razz were discussed. This time around Jen made it heads-up against either Jeff or Harold. I really should pay more attention. Jen pulled out the win! There was a little talk about a third game (Omaha H/L) but Mike had to work early today and then drive back to Waterloo so we passed on it.

Hope to see a big turnout for next month. Poker is on the 14th in November and the league season finale is Dec 19th. Bring friends! We need more players!!!
