Ugh.

I've dreaded writing this post. I really have. I wanted to ignore the facts as they are in front of me. I *could* ignore the facts but that still doesn't change them. He knows. In a real card room the police would have probably already found his body down by the river. Whereas in our little game, I'm at a loss.

So I'm biting the bullet and writing about the past poker night. While my above words should make it obvious, for the sake of historical accuracy, Mooney won. Just typing those two words side-by-side bring bile to the roof of my mouth. In fact, the only way I can see those words being beneficial would be in a sentence such as "The killer tossed a coin and Mooney won. He would be the first victim that the killer would shoot in the face. Repeatedly."

Not only did he win, he also stretched out his lead in the league. He's got a 144 point lead over Nikki. The only light on the horizon is that he has got points in 6 events already so if he gets more than one more points finish then we start dropping his lower points scores. Others, like me, could have a really good run and still catch up. Here's hoping!

So, below I present to you the final results for July. Below that I'll post June's results as well. Next poker night is August 15th. However, on August 8th there will be a special WSOP November Nine event where nine of us will play out this year's WSOP Main Event final table to see who wins.
